April marks a special focus on celebrating Queer literature at the International Queer Film and Art Forum (IQFAF). We are dedicated to spotlighting Queer writers and their diverse stories across all genres. Our goal is to spread access to Queer literature and amplify the voices of Queer Artists.

What this event will offer authors and writers...

What is the Event?

Join us for the International Queer Film and Art Forum (IQFAF) Writes Celebration, a vibrant event dedicated to honoring and celebrating Queer literature in all its forms. From April 15th to April 30th, we invite Queer independent authors, represented/publishing house writers, and members of writing guilds to participate in panels, interviews, and discussions centered around Queer storytelling.

At IQFAF, we believe in the power of storytelling to foster understanding, empathy, and change. That's why we're committed to providing a platform for Queer writers to share their unique voices and stories with the world.

Whether you specialize in fiction, nonfiction, short stories, graphic novels, audiobooks, or children's literature, we welcome you to join us. The only requirement for participation is that you identify with a facet of the Queer community. Your content need not exclusively pertain to Queer themes; the act of creation by Queer individuals is celebrated as Queer artistry in itself.

To express your interest in participating, please fill out the registration form on our website. We're eager to accommodate as many voices as possible and help share your stories with the world.

As an added bonus, we will also be hosting a Weekend of Free Ebooks during our event. If you have the ability to offer your work for free during this time, we encourage you to join us in making Queer literature more accessible to all.

Additionally, we are excited to announce plans for a physical IQFAF event in 2025, set to take place in Las Vegas. This event will be an opportunity to celebrate the winners of our Queerlitzer Prizes, recognizing excellence across various genres within Queer writing and authorship. Invitations to this event will be extended to the winners of our Queerlitzer Prizes.

Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to connect with fellow Queer writers, share your experiences, and shine a light on your work. Fill out the registration form today to secure your spot at IQFAF Writes Celebration.
